Trophy-raid is a competition to overcome off-roads, usually on four-wheel drive vehicles (SUVs), special off-road motorcycles, ATVs, nonstandard technics.

Unlike auto racing, the speed of the route is not important in trophy-raid.  It is necessary to meet in test time and to complete successfully all special stages, to perform tasks of all stages of the competition. The required components of the trophy-raid are the start, finish, special stages and other competitive stages. Off-road special stage to be so complex that the passage of several kilometers can take a whole day.

Passage of some segments of the route requires a large capacity and high sportsmen training.

Minimal car preparation includes the installation of "protection" and the necessary accessories: winch, hi-jack, high power batteries etc.

Participants of the trophy-raid are crews. The crew consists of two people - a pilot and navigator. The ratings in this competition can be individual and team (when the team combined several crews).
